The Sisters Troubetzkoy is the production company behind the hit TV series Sight Unseen, founded by creators and half-sisters Karen and Nikolijne Troubetzkoy.

Nikolijne Troubetzkoy is co-creator, writer and executive producer of the one-hour detective thriller Sight Unseen (Blink49/ Bell Media) with her sister, Kat. 

Previously, Nikolijne served as Writer/Co-Executive Producer on Paramount+ and CBS Studios’ high-octane rescue drama SkyMed, writer/producer on the CSA Award winning Transplant (NBC/Bell Media) and writer/producer of the hit disaster procedural Departure (Global/ Peacock/Universal TV UK). Niko got her start writing for sci-fi phenomenon Orphan Black (AMC/Space) and critically-acclaimed police drama 19-2 (Bravo) as well as the out of the box award winning comedy series Call Me Fitz starring Jason Priestley. Niko has received numerous nominations for her writing including a Canadian Screen Award nomination and several Writer’s Guild Awards for outstanding writing in a television drama.

Karen Troubetzkoy is co-creator, writer and executive producer of the one-hour detective thriller Sight Unseen (Blink49/Bell Media) with her sister, Niko. In part inspired by Kat’s struggle with retinal degeneration, Sight Unseen is the sisters’ first onscreen collaboration.

Kat was a Consulting Producer on Disney+Star UK’s heist thriller Culprits for Character7, an Executive Producer on Amazon’s hit comedy The Lake, and Executive Producer of the sci-fi drama Killjoys (SyFy/ Space original). Kat was also Consulting Producer on Orphan Black S2 (BBC America/ Space) and Executive Producer on the crime procedural The Listener (CTV/ Fox Int). Kat co-created, wrote and produced the Award-Winning comedy 18 To Life (CBC/ABC) and co-created, wrote and produced the teen drama 15/Love (FR2/ YTV) winning Gemini Awards for Best Directing and Writing. Her producing debut, Magician’s House (BBC/CTV) was nominated for a BAFTA and won an International Emmy.
