We’re more than the sum of our parts.
Kat is a veteran creator/producer (and recovering network exec) who has created and produced award winning shows encompassing almost every genre during her 30+ year career. She likes to say she makes things up for a living.
Niko is a versatile writer/producer who has penned episodes for award winning Canadian and global household names of television, like Orphan Black (BBC) and Transplant (CTV). She wanted to be a poet, but her cats have expensive tastes.
Together we have produced hundreds of hours of television and we had collaborated on 15/Love (YTV), Orphan Black (BBC), and Killjoys (CTV/Syfy) before co-creating our first project together: the hit one-hour crime procedural SIGHT UNSEEN, returning for a second season on CTV on January 21st, 2025.
We both used to be scuba diving instructors, but that’s a story for another day.

Sight Unseen
Homicide detective Tess Avery is forced to quit the job she loves after nearly getting her partner killed and being diagnosed as clinically blind.
Haunted by the unsolved cases she left behind, Tess uses a hidden camera and earpiece to connect with Sunny Patel, a professional seeing-eye guide and agoraphobe living 3,000 miles away. Together they form an unorthodox and highly entertaining duo that challenges preconceptions about ability, trust and where to draw the line.
