The Sisters Troubetzkoy is the Toronto based production company behind Sight Unseen, founded by creators and half sisters Karen and Nikolijne Troubetzkoy.

We’re more than the sum of our parts.
Kat is a veteran creator/producer (and recovering network exec) who has produced award winning shows encompassing almost every genre during her 30+ year career. She likes to say she makes things up for a living.
Niko is a versatile writer/producer and has penned episodes for award winning Canadian and global household names of television, like Orphan Black (BBC) and Transplant (CTV). She wanted to be a poet, but her cats have expensive tastes.
Together they have produced hundreds of hours of television and had collaborated on various projects together: 15/Love (YTV), Orphan Black (BBC), and Killjoys before co-creating their first project together: the one-hour crime procedural SIGHT UNSEEN, returning for a second season on CTV on January 21st, 2025.
They both used to be scuba diving instructors, but that’s a story for another day.
